Course Work
What is the policy regarding late enrollment?
You may enroll in a course anytime within the first two weeks of the start date.
Since the courses are self-paced most students find late enrollment presents no
problems.
What is the policy regarding dropping a class?
A course may be dropped only through the end of the second week of class. Upon the
beginning of week 3, you will no longer be able to drop the course and there will
be no refund. You will remain enrolled in the class for the duration of the course
and will have full access to the course, should you decide to complete it.
What is the policy regarding extension of time to complete a course?
Please notify your Instructor immediately if extreme unforeseen circumstances will
compel you to need additional time to complete the course. The Instructor may use
his or her discretion when considering a one-time extension of up to 10-days beyond
the final class date. The reason for the request, along with the student’s progress
and participation to that point, will be taken into consideration.
If I have concerns regarding my Instructor, who should I contact?
If you have a question or concern about your Instructor, please contact our Director
of Online Learning at instructionaldirector@learningbridges.com
What is the easiest way to move to the next section?
To assure that you work through the course sequentially, we strongly suggest that
you use the "Next Section" and "Previous Section" buttons at the bottom of each
page. Clicking on "Next Section" will automatically take you to the next part of
the lesson. Clicking "Previous Section" will move you back to the prior part of
the lesson. NOTE: While it is possible to use the index on the left side of the
page to selectively jump around in the course, the "Previous Section" and "Next
Section" buttons at the bottom of each section reduce the chances that you will
miss a section.
Can I edit my submission in the Conference Center?
You may edit your submission, however, you are not able to delete it. You can edit
it by clicking on the "Edit" button to the left of your submission.
What does this symbol mean?

This symbol and accompanying text written in red will call your attention to the
modifications to close the gap in achievement for diverse learners (e.g., students
of poverty, culturally diverse students, and English language learners).
When will my Instructor post my grade?
Instructors have 5 days after the last day of class to post grades on the Learning
Bridges website.
If you have taken a course for graduate credit, CSUB will mail your grade sheet
to you at the end of the graduate quarter.
How can I get my Proficiency or CEU Certificate?
Proficiency and CEU Certificates are available online as soon as the Instructor
has posted the grades. To view your previous courses and CEUs, log in and then click
on the "View Previous Courses" link in the upper-right hand corner. Next to each
course are the links to download and print your certificates.
If you took the course for graduate credit you will see a link for a Proficiency
Certificate.
If you did not take the course for graduate credit you will see a link for a Proficiency
Certificate as well as link for a CEU Certificate.
I took the course for graduate credit. When will I receive my grade?
Your grade sheet will be mailed to you at the end of the graduate quarter. For directions
on how to obtain your official transcript, log in and then click on the "Request
Transcript" link on the left hand side.
